First the USA Historical Perspective
 
This is a 2018 Voyageurs National Park quarter, the 3rd quarter from 2018 grouping.  It comes from the America's National Park series (2010-2021) which honors a national park or historic site in all 50 states, D.C. and the 5 U.S. territories
 
The reverse side shows doubled die errors, a common loon (the head is doubled) with rock cliffs and forests in the background of Voyageurs National Park, Minnesota's only national park and its located on the US-Canadian border,. This side also displays the site name: Voyageurs, state: Minnesota, year of issue: 2018, and doubled die error motto: "e pluribus unum".
 
Obverse side has strike throughs and die chips throughout.  It features the smaller restored version of original Washington profile and doubled die errors and partial missing letters, such as the Denver mint mark and the motto "in god we trust" .
 
Minted in Denver in 2018, this nickel clad copper coin is a rare coin's with unique strike throughs, die chips and cud errors and distorted letters.    Its a valuable addition to any coin collection, especially for those interested in US error coins that many collectors avidly seek.
