This is a 2001 Rhode Island State Quarter from the U.S.A. State Quarter series (1999-2009) honoring all 50 states, D.C. and the 5 U.S. territories.
 
The obverse and reverse sides shows doubled die errors, and doubled die error motto: "e pluribus unum". Both sides also have strike throughs and die chips throughout.
