This 1979 D Susan B. Anthony Dollar is a rare find for collectors. This particular coin has an interesting variety of Obverse and Reverse Missing Clad Layers, giving it a unique look. The coin is supposed to weigh 8.1 grams, but this coin weighs 7.8 grams, accounting for the missing layer of metal.

It's composition is supposed to be 75% Copper, 25% Nickel over a pure Copper center. However, this coin is missing most of the nickel layer while turning it black in spots and some of the copper has oxidized with scattered spots of green, giving it a unique appearance.
