This 1977 Denver minted Ike dollar despite being uncertified, is clearly authentic and it is in an UNCIRCULATED mint state condition with a filled in mint mark error and DDO and the American Numismatic History below, makes it a true gem for any coin collector. 
 
The portrait of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower is on the obverse side and the American bald eagle landing on the moon is on the reverse side.  The landing occured the year he died in 1969. He left behind an amazing legacy playing a critical part to both the ending of WWII and the beginning of the NASA space program.
 
The Ike Dollar was rather short-lived which increases its value. It was only minted from 1971 to 1978. It was replaced by a much smaller Susan B Anthony dollar in 1979.
